PT. Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mill
PT. Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mill is member of the Asia Pulp and Paper Group as paper and tissue Manufacturer in East Karawang, West Java, Indonesia. There are 3 Mills and about 450 hectare of plantation in the same area.
PT. Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mill owner together with their consultants and contractors were previously using Cheap Integral admixture, FRP and Epoxy to protect their concrete but experienced time consuming and very expensive repairs. In 2017, CEMENTAID had a chance to introduce its Hydrophobic Pore-blocking Ingredients (HPI) and completed several trials. In 2018, PT. Pindo Deli started using HPI for rectification of their Chemical Plant (Caustic Soda). Satisfied with the result, the mill started using HPI into their new Demineralization and Waste Pond in 2019. PT. Pindo Deli Pulp & Paper Mill is presently tendering for Chlor-Alkali and H2O2 Chemical Plant and had specified Cementaid HPI System. Below are the completed projects so far.
- Repair of Caustic Soda Plant slab, topping of HCL/NaOH tank foundation, H2SO4 production floor and waste trench at Mill 2, all using EVERDURE CALTITE System, still I good condition after 2 years.
- Slab and wall of 3 Waste Water Treatment Tank at Deinking Area, Mill 2, all using EVERDURE CALTITE System, completed last August, 2019.
- Slab and wall of 4 underground conveyor tunnel, Waste Pond and Demineralization area at Mill 3. All were EVERDURE CALTITE System and completed last December 2019
